Dear Park Place CDD Residents,
We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding your CDD (Community Development District) tax assessments for this year.
It has come to our attention that there was an error in the tax bills issued by the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s office. Specifically, the CDD amount listed on the bills was incorrect. We have been in communication with the County, and they have corrected the error. The correct amount is listed on the county’s website, but unfortunately, the incorrect amount was reflected in the tax bills mailed last week.
If your property taxes are escrowed through your mortgage lender, there is no need to take further action. In most cases, your bank will automatically receive a refund from the Tax Collector for the overpayment. The excess funds will then be deposited back into your escrow account.
However, if you plan to pay your property taxes directly by check, we strongly encourage you to visit the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s website to verify the correct tax amount before submitting your payment. This will ensure that you are paying the accurate amount due.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact the Hillsborough County Tax Collector's office directly or reach out to our CDD management team at christina.newsome@inframark.com.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Christina Newsome
District Manager

Welcome
The Park Place Community Development District (“District”) is an independent local unit of special-purpose government created pursuant to and existing under the provisions of Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
A Community Development District (CDD) provides the "solution" to Florida’s need to provide valuable community infrastructure generated by growth, ultimately without overburdening other governments and their taxpaying residents.
CDDs represent a major advancement in Florida’s effort to manage its growth effectively and efficiently. This allows a community to establish higher construction standards, meanwhile providing a long-term solution to the operation and maintenance of the community’s facilities.
